The Artist Process
This past Sunday I had the pleasure of participating in the second part of The Artist Process. A little ago I took part in the video documentary portion, which was amazing as well. So on Sunday the majority of Artist involved got together at 5 Pointz in Long Island City, Queens. The Person responsible for this entire project is M2 a.k.a. Marthalicia of M-Squared Art Productions. Anybody who knows this lady knows the talent she holds. Truly inspiring. It was a great day to be out painting amongst some of NY most talented individuals. Many thanks to Flor Mancha for grabbing the camera and documenting while I painted!

Brooklyn day & night pt.2
Photography is becoming another passion of mine. All I can do is trust my eye and capture what I feel is a great moment. Some photographers take hundreds of photos to chance that they can get the perfect shot. I think about it as if I was using film and not a digital camera. Take time wait and when I see something interesting capture it.

Latest work-August Leo

August Leo, 11×8, acrylic and only marker.
Wrapped up some semi new canvases …
These paintings started out a few weeks ago while painting in the city. I still feel there is more I can do with the concept behind the imagery but for now this is the start. Enjoy!
Moonwalker…
So last night I got down with Yaz of Old Soulz Ent. and Rizz22 to do a live painting tribute to the late great MJ. I know now why people usually paint him with sunglasses, it’s a little difficult to capture his eyes when the have changed over the years. Two of these pieces are finished and two I will go back in and add some shades to his face, maybe some Blublockers.

Dutty Geisha
So the other day I did some work for a fellow Brooklyn DJ by the name of DJ Sakir. What started out as a simple banner grew in my mind to a few paintings and maybe more. Not to steal her ideas but I was feeling the concept so when I began the banner design I ran with it into more and now they’re a few paintings in the works. They will be finished as soon as I stop by the art store for more paints!
(these are works in progress)
Thicky Chick

This piece was originally a thicky chick I created for a friend of mine. I wasn’t to happy with the composition so I adjusted it a little bit.
